DRIVEMAPPER PRO v5.6 - SYNC MANAGER FEATURE GUIDE
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

🎉 NEW IN v5.6: DEDICATED SYNC MANAGER TAB

The app now has TWO tabs:
🗂️ Drive Mapper - Map network drives (existing functionality)
🔄 Sync Manager - Synchronize directories (NEW!)

The Sync Manager lets you synchronize directories between:
  ✓ Local folders (C:\Documents → D:\Backup)
  ✓ Network shares (C:\Photos → \\NAS\Backup)
  ✓ Cloud storage (C:\Files → MyCloud:Backup)
✓ FTP servers (using rclone remotes)
✓ Any combination of the above!

KEY FEATURES:
• Save sync profiles for repeated use
• Three sync directions (Source→Dest, Dest→Source, Bidirectional)
• Optional delete mode (removes files not in source)
• Progress display in console window
• Uses rclone (powerful, reliable, supports everything)

HOW TO CREATE A SYNC PROFILE:
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

1. Profile Name: Give it a descriptive name
2. Source: Type or browse (📁) for source directory
3. Destination: Type or browse (📁) for destination
4. Direction: Choose how data flows
5. Delete Option: Check to mirror exactly (removes extra files)
6. Click "💾 Save Sync Profile"

SYNC DIRECTIONS:
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

Source → Dest: Copy from source to destination (most common)
Dest → Source: Copy from destination to source (pull mode)
Bidirectional: Keep both sides in sync (changes go both ways)

EXAMPLE PROFILES:
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

Backup Documents to NAS:
  Name: Daily Documents Backup
  Source: C:\Users\You\Documents
  Dest: \\10.0.0.161\backup\documents
  Direction: Source → Dest
  Delete: ☑ (exact mirror)

Sync Photos with Cloud:
  Name: Photo Cloud Sync
  Source: C:\Users\You\Pictures
  Dest: GoogleDrive:Photos
  Direction: Bidirectional
  Delete: ☐ (keep everything)

FTP Backup:
  Name: Backup to FTP
  Source: C:\WebsiteFiles
  Dest: MyFTP:/backup
  Direction: Source → Dest
  Delete: ☑

PATHS YOU CAN USE:
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

Local: C:\Users\John\Documents
Network: \\server\share\folder or \\10.0.0.161\c\Data
Cloud: MyCloud:Backup (requires rclone remote setup)
FTP: MyFTP:Backup (requires rclone remote setup)

TIPS:
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

• Test WITHOUT delete first to see what happens
• Use descriptive profile names
• Watch the console window for progress
• For cloud/FTP, setup rclone remote first (☁️ Rclone Config)
• Map network shares as drives first if they need credentials

TROUBLESHOOTING:
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

"rclone not recognized" → Install from https://rclone.org
"Path not found" → Check paths, use 📁 browser
"No files transfer" → Check permissions and console errors
"Sync slow" → Large files or slow connection - be patient
